Our story
Started In A Basement Belief, Not A Boardroom
NewLife Marketing was founded in 2022 in Barrie, Ontario, by Cruz Lee, on one belief: a small business deserves better than a cookie-cutter strategy and a junior account manager. It started with Cruz building campaigns for local businesses, camera in hand — and grew into a full digital marketing agency in Ontario.
The rule then is the rule now — the work has to pay for itself. Today that same crew films, edits, runs the ads and builds the CRM for clients like Elite Cards Toronto, DMT Building Group and Chicken On The Run — and has taken the cameras from Toronto to Aruba, Tampa and Washington DC.

Cruz founded NewLife in 2022 with one rule: if the numbers don't move, the work doesn't count. He runs every paid media account personally — Meta, Google and YouTube — and on your strategy call you talk to him or Keegan. Never a sales rep.
Keegan Pugh
Keegan keeps NewLife honest about one thing: what a client actually needs, not what's easiest to sell. He scopes every engagement, sets the goals we'll be judged against, leads day-to-day client communication, and checks in on those goals monthly.
Alex
Alex directs the creative — the scripts, the plans and the shoot itself. He runs project management across the team so client work lands on schedule, hosts the NewLife podcast, and is on location directing while Julian films.
Rudy Mcnabb
Rudy runs search at NewLife — the audits, the keyword strategy, the Google Business Profile work and the content that has to rank. He came up behind the camera, shooting on client sites across Ontario and on productions in Aruba, Washington DC, Tampa and Thunder Bay, so the SEO he writes is built around content we can actually produce.
Julian Mcphail
Julian is behind the camera on most of what NewLife ships — and in the edit right after. He's the company's main filmer, cuts the edits and designs the graphics himself, and runs the schedule that keeps every shoot and delivery on time.
